Which Brojo course does this reflection apply to?

Introduction to Kingdom Building

Q3

What are the main insights you had about yourself in doing this course?

I need to commit fully to the approach to social interaction which has worked for me in previous years. I cannot wait for the perfect time or opportunity; I have to work to create it.

Q4

What actions did you take and how did you feel during those experiences?

I am trying to ensure I make the most of social interactions, however small, by not doing just the bare minimum and instead making more spontaneous remarks or jokes, or asking more questions. I am doing this in all places rather than choosing one. I feel positive about it.

Q5

What is the one main thing you want to remember from this course and keep applying to your life?

That there is nothing wrong with opening yourself out more to the world as a general attitude, as long as you are true to your values.

Q6

What can you do to ensure that what you learned from this course continues to improve your life?

Continue to be more spontaneous, creative and open with people.

Q7

What was your favourite part of the course?

Learning about the principle of kingdom building. I interpret it as a general change of mindset rather than a rule book to be followed (which would become a chore). Similar to how Glover recommends “abundance thinking” instead of “scarcity thinking”.

Q8

Which part of the course did you find the most difficult, confusing or unhelpful?

Some of the practical suggestions made me cringe and I knew they would not be true to my values. For example the compliments on pieces of paper and saying to someone “I am doing a confidence building exercise”. I feel I have enough to offer without such crutches.
